It’s nearly February 14th and hopefully that won’t mean you seeing red in anger! If you’re not all that impressed with the commercialism of Valentines then this post will probably not be that much of interest but hopefully you’ll stick around to see that sometimes it’s nice to remind the special people in our lives how much we love them. I should of course say that every day is special with Mr M and that we do treat each other every now and then ‘just because’ but Valentines brings back memories of my marriage proposal some six years ago and for me romance is incredibly special.
When Snapfish contacted me recently to see if I would like to create some personalised photo gifts from the Valentine’s range this hopeless romantic said yes of course. Over on their site there are endless possibilities for product customisation and of course the gifts are unique to you. The items were delivered really quickly and I was impressed with the quality. I chose the above card from many designs on offer. The notebook that I ordered and I’m not talking about the heart wrenching romance of 2004 I hope will make Mr M smile as it has three photos that are very special to me. The first being the very first photo we ever had taken of us on our second date seven days after we met. The second photo was of our wedding cake topper based on us and the third photo is our most recent family photo taken of us in California. These days so many items can make personalised to make photo gifts so if you are stuck for ideas take a look for yourself as there is still time to gift your other half with a little something perhaps?
‘Tis the season to be jolly and in case you didn’t know already I’m a huge fan of personalised Christmas and photo gifts. I’ve teamed up with one of my favourites Snapfish and you can read my previous review herefor some gift ideas to get those stockings filled with treats. I love gifts that can be given that personal touch probably more so since becoming a parent. We all have our favourite photos that are often left on our mobiles and laptops and to bring them to life is a good thing I reckon.
Christmas trees are incredibly special and part of the magic of the festive season is decorating with ornaments that become keepsakes. Little pieces like this make me smile. This one is for my brother who has yet to meet his nephew and will be doing so in 2 weeks time!
I designed this mug for a very hard working lady…and it’s the best start in the morning reminding myself that I can get through the day with my teething toddler and everything else that life will throw at me. Personalised mugs are useful gifts as they’re likely to be used daily and will brighten up any tea or coffee break.
This is probably my favourite item to personalise from the range. I designed the square cushion and really like the quality it’s super soft. I think I should have gone for a bigger size but it works well on this particular armchair. Brighten up your soft furnishings with your favourite images.
I enjoyed creating this photo kitchen calendar perfect as a stocking filler gift. I usually need reminding what day it is and I know my mum and dad definitely need some help so here’s one for them and better still it’s got someone very dear to them keeping an eye on them.
These days most people I know use a notebook and I like this A5 sized book to help keep me organised. Why not choose a favourite quote to personalise the front and provide some motivation to kick start your day.
