*Femme Luxe Collab #7

Gina Dress

What a year for online retailers, the high street and actually everyone. It’s quite worrying but I’m optimistic that things will change for the better slowly. There is always HOPE.

I have been working with Femme Luxe Finery for the past year and a half on collaborations and feel very grateful for the opportunity to bring you clothing posts. The clothes are affordable and fun. Although you will see many lovely stylish instagram influencers I don’t fit that category as I tend to wear what I like and dress according to mood. Although fashion isn’t high up on my list of  content, when I get the chance to choose clothes I post about them. Thank you to the team!

Sooooo…..Kicking things off with my favourite …..loungewear what else….

Black Off Shoulder Loungewear Set – Blake

I have this set in grey too and love it. Get yourself relax ready in this Black Off Shoulder Loungewear Set. A perfect matching co-ord to chill in. This setincludes soft cuffed joggers with a drawstring waist and a cropped matching off the shoulder top, is perfect for cosy Autumn relaxation. Pair this loungewear set with some comfy trainers and your favourite bomber jacket (if you have one) for that Femme Luxe off-duty vibe no matter where the evening may take you even if it is to your own kitchen.

Blue Off The Shoulder Knitted Loungewear Set – Alisa

Take it off the shoulder this season and make a statement in this gorgeous Blue Off  The Shoulder Knitted Loungewear Set. Featuring this stylish design in a luxe knitted material, it is such a lovely paring. The colour is a gorgeous soft blue and really beautiful, probably one of my favourite shades. I have spent many an evening changing into these cuddly garments.

Available In Sizes S-L

Red Square Neck Ruched Bodycon Mini Dress – Gina

Score some serious fashion points in the Red Square Neck Ruched Bodycon Mini Dress. Featuring a ruched front with an on trend square neck, it’s a dress to be obsessed about. I dressed up for an indoor date night recently and thankfully it is soft and stretchy which helped as I ate a lot of food! Although red isn’t my first choice of clothing colour, I probably opt to wear more red through winter than any other season! Definitely has those festive vibes to it.

In Sizes 6-12

Black ‘Couture’ Lip Print Oversized T-Shirt – Melissa

Say it loud and add some slogan prints. Featuring a luxe oversized style with a lip print and slogan ‘Couture’ saying, this t-shirt will look on point. I love it! Team with shorts and trainers. Sadly this was a bit too long in length for my body frame, but I love the print nevertheless. What do you think?

Sizes S – XL

Whatever your plans are for the rest of October I hope you stay healthy and well. Remember to look out for one another.

Femme Luxe Finery (Lounging Around)

Hello how are you and how is your summer panning out? I know quite a few of us are still fairly reluctant to make plans and get out. I feel we are being robbed of time where a lot of us would be mingling freely in beer gardens  with friends and attending concerts and all the things which we now won’t take for granted! slowly but surely there is more freedom to do the things we want with conditions of course. Something is better than nothing.

Cabin fever isn’t fun. I need my walks and need green space to calm the mind.  Plus Mr M and I didn’t quite get to go to Ibiza as planned and so no last minute shopping or packing happened. Our ‘new normal’ is also here to stay for the foreseeable future which will involve masks and we have to make the most of our blue skies and sunshine from wherever we are based.

As the temperatures continued to rise recently there wasn’t really much need for clothing! but now the cooler days are back  you may be considering a revamp of your clothing racks with fresh, elevated summer looks. There doesn’t appear to be a shortage of summer outfit inspiration on Instagram from bright colours to matching separates and and my friends at Femme Luxe Finery have some trend ready outfit ideas to inspire your closet. I thoroughly enjoy seeing fashion posts although I don’t always follow trend and dress according to mood.

So what do we think, staying in is the new going out? My next instalment with the lovely team is mainly loungewear, surprise surprise I just can’t get enough of it.  They always have a great range and take laid back to a whole new level, because if you’re spending the day on the sofa, you may as well look good while doing it.

Black Oversize Leggings Loungewear Set
Justine – Black

Leggings and loungewear will always be essential for casual days. I love this set which is soft to touch and smart looking, it has a glam feel to it. I mean the you can dress it up and go out if you wanted!

White ‘Got A Connection’ Slogan Print Crew Neck T-Shirt
Cordelia – White

Well-cut, classic t-shirts for women are a summer staple, and a versatile wardrobe piece that will serve you well throughout the year. Build the foundations of your wardrobe with our collection of women’s T-shirts. Tees can be worn alone or as base layers, and are made with cotton to ensure softness. I love connections!

Black Velvet Bardot Wire Plunge Bodycon Mini Dress
Molly –  Black

It’s been a long time since I wore a dress like this! a cocktail is missing from my hand basically. Add chic vibes to your collection with this little black dress. Featuring a black material with a bardot design, and a bodycon fit. Team with some tie-up heels for a catch up with the dolls. This LBD is perfect with strappy heels and layered jewellery for a night out with the girls.  With its flattering feature off shoulder style for a dinner date worthy look and soft material it’s such a super cute dress. Although in all honesty I’ve forgotten what date night feels like!

Navy Loungewear Tracksuit Set
Maria – Navy

I usually go for grey or black when it comes to chill wear so navy was a lovely option and made a change. Effortlessly chilled. The top and bottoms fit like a dream and so cosy. You won’t want to leave the sofa once you have this on.

Whatever you’re doing (or not doing) make comfort your main priority with this season’s lounge clothing.

This Month with Femme Luxe Finery*

Hello and welcome back to my blog. If you are new here hello I’m Bella a lifestyle blogger writing about all sorts of things with a mix of product reviews. Fashion was never something I thought I would be blogging about to be honest but over the past few years I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with clothing brands, probably my favourite type of assignments!

As a forty something mum I am trying to inject a little more fun into my clothing style. I still prefer comfort over style and would happily wear lounge wear 24/7 if I could.  There’s been a huge rise in the number of online clothing retailers over the past few years. Online fashion boutiques popping up all over the world. This has meant there is an incredible amount of choice when it comes to fashion and that can’t be a bad thing.

The lovely team at Femme Luxe Finery have yet again kindly let me choose items from their website and this is my fourth collaboration with them. It’s a modern edgy clothing line that have great quality clothing which retains its shape wash after wash. I do remember being quite sceptical when I first collaborated with them just because I didn’t know anyone who had tried their clothing,  but they provide great customer service and have always delivered quickly.

Winter is not necessarily a great time for showing off your style when the main aim is usually to stay warm but that doesn’t stop me from looking at their  swimwear / beachwear and lingerie! My personal favourite from their collection is still loungewear. So for those of you that are looking for websites that have affordable clothes which are on trend, take a look at this retailer with an ever-growing fan base.

On to my choices this time round:

White Nothing to Wear Slogan Short Sleeve Cropped Top

Andi – S/M (8/10) / White

Can never go wrong with Tee’s, so classically simple and this is one eye-catching ‘Nothing to Wear’ Slogan Short Sleeve Cropped Top. White tees work great with denim. A statement vibe that people won’t help but notice. You can show off some attitude in an effortless way.

Mauve Satin Long Sleeve Shrilled Waist Crop Top

Shan – 10 / Mauve

Satin isn’t something I wear a lot admittedly but it’s back and I like it! The top features a shrilled waist with a long sleeve design in a luxe satin material. I would have personally preferred this to be longer but then it is described as crop. I don’t feel as I am as comfortable with crop tops at my stage in life but that’s not to say I won’t wear them if the mood takes me!

Green Utility Seatbelt Mini Shirt Dress

Reggie – M (8/10) / Green

The jury is still out on this one, although I do like the colour I can’t decide if I like the fit on me. Shirt dresses have always appealed to my casual smart sense, but perhaps this one is just too baggy for my frame. The belt is also a bit fiddly so I did spend a little more time than necessary working out what I could do. What I did like was that the material is thick and perfect for the colder months so it’s not all bad news.

Black Cross Satin Floral Lace Bodysuit

Dahlia – L (10/12) / Black

This is one very beautiful and sexy bodysuit probably my favourite piece from this haul. The gorgeous floral lace teamed with the cross satin design makes this bodysuit pretty. Team with jeans if you’re brave enough to wear out (which I’m not).  I love black lingerie and this felt comfortable so most definitely a winner!

Femme Luxe Finery Collaboration Part 2

The kind team at Femme Lux Finery decided to let me choose more clothing to review which I am thrilled about as the last experience was successful and I also was keen to try a few more styles that had caught my eye the last time. I am genuinely impressed with the quality and service of this clothing store online. As I mentioned in my previous blog post, I want to add a little more variety to my current wardrobe contents. I guess we all go through phases when we want to refresh, recycle etc and this year I am adding more colour to what I would ordinarily go for.

Still in love with the Rose Bardot Cable Knit Over-sized Jumper and decided to pair it up with these comfy leggings which are so much more stylish than the black lycra leggings I usually wear.

Moving on to a favourite of mine, jump-suits. Once upon a time I just assumed they were suitable for tall women only but thankfully there is so much choice now even for shorter girls like me who adore the style. I just feel that they never go out of fashion and can really enhance your figure. Perfect for the weekend or whenever!

I am wearing Rust Cold Shoulder Long Sleeve Jumpsuit – Hattie

I think this has a little bit of 70s glam to it do you agree? I also don’t own any clothing in this burnt orange rust colour which I guess I would describe as autumnal. I love the style of this off shoulder cut and the neck design which really gives it a glam feel. Mark said I could appear in an episode of Columbo wearing this! also to mention that I am petite in height and size but this fitted pretty much ok. I only have a slight alteration to make which is the long sleeve which falls down a little too much on my body. Either that or I build up some arm muscle quick. I am really happy with the quality of this suit and the material is soft.

Revamp your style with a Knitted Jumper Dress. I own two jumper dresses and now I have this beautiful cream warm cosy dress which to be fair I definitely need this month as it has been chilly. This dress I feel would suit someone taller although I wore this out to a lunch with high-heeled boots. It’s soft knit so won’t scratch or itch. I guess you could also pair it up with trainers! For a style that’s winning and warm, you can’t go wrong.

I could go on and on about loungewear as this for me is the ultimate in comfort and great for those do nothing weekends that I love oh so much.  This Co Ords set is comfy and stretchy with soft cuffed joggers and a drawstring waist.  I also match with my husband and son now who have similar lounge attire! I would live in this daily if I could, comfort for me is key and I know that lounge wear sets are very popular so check out the range. All I want to do when I wear this is chill. Staying in is the new going out, right?

I would love to see a petite section offered by Femme Luxe Refinery, I have been impressed with the speed of the deliveries and the quality of the clothing not mention the fact that it is very reasonably priced. We all have our different tastes in what we would perhaps wear or not choose to wear but with so much offered these days online there’s no doubt we are spoilt for choice. Femme Luxe Refinery aim to offer the leading trends at the most affordable prices, on a global scale, with new styles published every week they are smashing prices internationally.

hotMama Clothing*

As I recently mentioned Instagram is one of my favourite social media platforms and one of the reasons why I love it is discovering the wonderful online shops that are appearing on my insta feed. I have always admired busy mothers who are able to start ventures and balance motherhood and I’m sure it takes a whole lot of guts, sweat and tears to achieve results. Recently while looking for clothes yes more clothes when I should in fact be looking for storage, I came across a new clothing business called hotMaMa and I started looking at the designs not realising they were nursing style tops!. They looked ever so pretty and stylish. I’m so pleased to share with you three of the designs from this fabulous line. So if you know anyone that is expecting who is possibly thinking about breastfeeding their baby I genuinely recommend taking a peek at the garments all which are manufactured in England.

I must start however with a little bit about business owner and stay at home mum Sophie who is the designer of these gorgeous stylish breastfeeding clothes. I applaud Sophie for showing that nursing clothes don’t have to be boring, frumpy and plain. These clothes are meant to be practical and noticeable with the wonderful fabric and designs all coming together to make a mama feel great. I breastfed Jay for two months and must admit I wasn’t too keen on the clothing that was out there at the time and just couldn’t find anything I liked which felt comfortable. I relied on High Street stores for nursing clothes but it goes to show that there is plenty of choice online when you come across the right brands.

Breastfeeding Long sleeved top in white with chevrons – £27.99

I love strong patterns and monochrome colours and this one is definitely eye-catching. The cotton and polyester material is machine washable and super soft.  The tops come in sizes 8-16. I have a size 10. The front breastfeeding panel doesn’t leave you feeling exposed! I’d still wear it whether or not I was breastfeeding!

Breastfeeding Long sleeved top in Cambridge bicycle – £27.99

This is top is again comfortable being a mix of cotton and polyester and has a fun bicycle print. I  associate the colour grey with clothing of a casual lounge around feel. This top feels much thicker than the chevrons.

Breastfeeding Kimono in navy florals – £39.99

This beautiful floral print is my favourite from the range. The garment feels very luxurious and thick and with its kinomo style sleeves gives a really stylish look. Breastfeeding is easy with the wrap front style. I can see this garment being worn at perhaps special events as opposed to daily wear but it would look great with jeans.

If you’re looking for great quality affordable clothing then head over to the website and check out all the wonderful designs on offer.
